Welcome to Skin + Halo. I’m Misty, and I created this space to be more than a place for beauty treatments—I envisioned a sanctuary where women can come exactly as they are and leave feeling like their most radiant, grounded selves. My mission is to offer a tranquil, welcoming environment where you can relax, recharge, and reconnect with your own well-being.
I’m a licensed Esthetician, certified Head Spa Specialist, and a certified Hair Loss Specialist, with a deep-rooted passion for helping women look and feel their best. While my journey began in skincare, it quickly expanded into the deeply transformative world of head spa therapy and holistic scalp health. I hold four certifications in hands-on Head Spa training and have traveled across the U.S. to train with experts who learned directly from Japanese masters.
I’m proud to be the only practitioner in Michigan trained and certified in the traditional Yume Japanese Head Spa—a practice that blends science, relaxation, and rejuvenation in one immersive experience. Every treatment I offer is highly personalized, designed to meet your unique needs with care and intention.
In addition to my current offerings, I’m also apprenticing to earn my cosmetology license and studying to become a certified trichologist. Trichology—the science of hair and scalp health—has become a natural extension of my work, allowing me to better support clients experiencing hair thinning, shedding, or scalp imbalances.
The more I worked hands-on with clients, the more I saw how common (and often hidden) hair loss and scalp challenges are for women—and how emotional that journey can be. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create a private, compassionate space where women can seek real, customized support without ever feeling rushed, embarrassed, or unseen.
